Beach Packing List

by Mitchell on November 27, 2011

Ahhh, The Beach.

Sand, water,  sunburn, and half naked people.

Most people enjoy a day (or three) at the beach however many of them don’t come fully prepared.
Today we’re going to quickly go over your packing list for a typical “day at the beach”

Beach Packing List
In addition to taking what you normally would for a daily outing (wallet, keys, t-shirt etc.) make sure you bring the following items for a pleasant beaching experience.

1. Bathing Suit
You are going to a beach. We will assume there will be water there. Even if you don’t plan on swimming wear a bathing suit so that you don’t look like the gawky tourist that you most probably are.

2. Sunglasses
Great for protecting your eyes and checking out your fellow beach goers undetected.

3. Flip-Flops
Sand too hot? Rocks? No problem if your rocking a pair of ye-old flops.

4. Towel
Great for changing in, lying on, and drying with. Can also be used for “rat-tail” fights.

5. Sunscreen
Slather some of this on so you don’t end up like the guy in the picture below.

6. Novel

7. Liquids.
Water, Beer, pick your poison.

8. A bag to hold everything.

There you go.
Packing List complete.
Now I bet you thought this list was going to be complicated.
Of course not, it’s a day at the beach silly.

Now, of course we wouldn’t tell you about packing for the beach without providing you with
a super easy way of doing it.

So, without further ado,

We’d like to officially announce our beach packing list template.
This will make packing for a day at the beach as easy as 1, 2 , 3, mankini.
You can also add this beach template to any other packing lists you’ve created
that may require some beach time.

You can use this beachtastic template by going to The Travel Packer home site and selecting “start from template”

p.s. Anything missing from this list? Let us know in the comments below.
