What to Pack for a beach vacation

Lots of people enjoy going to the beach.

Families spend their entire summer vacations there and university/college students are famous for their spring break beach parties.

Spending time at the beach can be wonderful, relaxing, and a lot of fun.
However if your not prepared for the beach you  may be in for an unpleasant time.
That is why this article will help you get ready for the beach by showing you how to create a proper packing list for your travels. We’ll answer the question “what to pack” and show you how to make this process simple, quick, and possibly even fun.

A beach vacation implies that you will be going to one place and staying there for some period of time from a weekend to a week or more. You’ll most likely be staying in a hotel, resort, or a friends house. As a result, we recommend you bring a suitcase instead of a backpack.
Backpacks have their place if your are doing lots of travelling around but if your just going to one place a suitcase will be easier to transport (gotta love those wheels). Once you have your suitcase ready it’s time to start filling it.

Provided your beach destination is hot (which most should be) you’ll want to pack a variety of summer clothes. If your a guy, your clothes packing list should include a pair or two of shorts, some t-shirts, one pair of jeans, enough underwear to last you, and a token pair of socks. You’ll also want to remember your board shorts or bathing suit and a pair of flip flops or sandals.

Ladies will want to bring similar items of clothing with some feminine touches.

Your accessories should include sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or two.

An easy way to create your packing list is using our packing list creator. You could also write your list out on a piece of paper but that is easy to lose and you might forget something.

Once you have your packing list it’s time to start assembling everything into your suitcase. Put the heavier items in the bottom and the lighter ones on top. If you’ll be carrying it onto an airplane be sure that there are no banned items in your luggage such as knives, scissors, or liquids over 100ml.

That’s it, you should be all packed and ready to go.Have a safe and sunny trip!
